The Lake Two

Went in the lake for the first time this summer
Could not wait any longer
Soon it would be November
And then December
And I’ll be skiing again
Enjoying the winter season
That is why I swam in the lake
Even though it was cold
My breath it did take
But her waters I did not want to escape
Only embrace
Remember grace
Everything is in it’s right place
Right now
This is mine
Swimming in the lake
All my worries in a different place
Not even on shore
They vanished when I got in the water
Washed away
Same as everything
When you’re with her
She tells you special things
Makes you feel beautiful
A luminous being
Her waters are refreshing
And her current
Replenishing
A source of all remembering
And all connecting
From the water
I see my friends spirit reflecting
His bench overlooking
And smiling
Reflecting the glorious sun shinning
I swam as long as I could
Until my feet were cold
And I had to get out
I was glad it was just the first time this summer
Because that means there will be another
It will only be better
My hair will get wetter
Everyone will be there
All in love together
