Wish Upon a Star

If I could be granted one wish
It would be this
That we take the reigns of our world
In all our hands
Stop tweeting
Or protesting demands
But decide together
And make a plan
One where all voices are heard
Addressed are all concerns
Each person gets their turn
Worry less about what is and what is not earned
Or yell about what I deserve
My wish is we be what we are
Not squabbling immature children
But
Divine Beings
Who know we are all siblings
Our best bet
Is to help each other out
Not accuse each other and shout
We all need to change
No doubt
There is nothing left to argue about
Because we should all know the problems
No doubt
Shhhhh
I said don’t shout
I hear your story
Not to diminish
But what about your plight is any different?
Lots of us have been victims
Caught up in systematic racism
Oppression
Sexism
Classism
Worse yet
Human violation
I feel you
But our perpetrators will not be brought to justice
They made the system
And gave themselves abundance
Free passes
The right to grab all the ladies asses
And worse
Does this mean we are cursed?
No
Cause my wish
About them I don’t give a shit
The bed they made
They will sleep in
No one will win
And none will loose
To care for each other
Is what I hope we can choose
Not wait for permission
Because it will never come
At least not from those ones
If they don’t want us
Fine we’re gone
We are with each other dancing to a new song
And when they have to do things for themselves
Finally they may see the value of their wealth
Which is nothing
Because of their spiritual health
And their totally fucked up view of themselves
