The Lord's Call

If one day the Lord calls
Here is my advice
Pick up the line and say hi
Then just listen
As if you were sitting right beside
At the throne of the Lord
Dwelling in Heaven
Learn why a weeks days has seven
What is special about the number 11
But when their majesty
Lord Everything
Shows up in your life one day
It will not only be holy things
Rather ordinary things
Like you meet a man who has your same name
After a Colorado ski day
Says things about a life you once dreamed
But here you were
Living in the same scene
In both worlds
And in between
Thank you Lord for blessing me
Why would I ever doubt thee?
When here you are in my life so clearly
Giving me all I need
Even if I beg and plead
Why are you so good to me?
Oh yeah
You made me
And Everything
Clearly as a sign of your love for humanity
I know this
And they question my sanity
But give a show to Hannity
Are you kidding me?
I do know this though
If God asks
Yeah
I do want to see the light show
Go behind the scenes
Learn what the apostles knew
Brahman enlightened in blue
Through the galaxy
Straight to the center
Doesn’t matter if you can remember
You went
And came back
Engaged in a holy pact
To be the Lord’s instrument
In their universal symphony
Do their work
Spread love
The Lord will give you your instrument
And teach you to play
This is how they made
It’s designed this way
