Lots of 2’s in the date today

Even on a Tuesday

Maybe I should hit the club this Tuesday

Maybe not

Got work this Wednesday

But what do all these two’s mean?

In the year ‘22

Year six

If you add all the parts

And that’s the start

The Hexagram

The I Ching’s most vital part

Although it feels special

And I know it is

I still have a heavy heart

But have a different woman for every night of the week

Plenty of love

Plenty of time spent in the sheets

However, it is what I see in the streets

That breaks my heart so hard

Everywhere I look people spar with ugly words

And disgusting vitriol

All in the name of being right

Judging others as if they had the Lord’s might

But it’s clear they do not serve the light

Especially those who think they are right

Cause they watch the news and do as they are told

But so do their adversaries

They watch news too

Just a different channel

Fair and Balanced

With their own truth

I see how we got here

No need to wonder

It’s crystal clear

But the end of this is not near

The pandemic can end

But I doubt we’ll all be friends

Because we don’t know how to make our hatred end

And completely miss the part that our hearts must mend

I’m out of patience

And done trying

Just ready to see more people start dying

From our hatred for each other

I told the Lord what I’ve seen

Wrote it down

So they could read

What comes next is apocalypse and catastrophe

Judgement for all and me

Too late to repent or change
