Lessons Past

I’ve been keeping time
Asking the Divine
Not really trying to rewind
But of my happy memories
I always want to remind
Smile
And hope they stay longer than just a little while
Hope they scar my heart and mind
In the best way
So I can look back and always replay
All those happy memories
I won’t close the door on them
Or regret the memories
When she said I don’t even want to be friends
Goodbye
The end
Soon
Seven more years will have past
And this time
I am promising myself not to become my demonic self
Although I may still get angry
Even furious
I remember what I really am is curious
No need to challenge God in all aspects
Or plead with them to save myself
But ask them what I really want
And that is to know thyself
Ask them to send me my best self
Then ask the Lord to carry me to Their highest shelf
Not for material wealth
But to live in Their Divine Health

The Lesson of the Night Sky

I gaze across the night sky
And wonder why
So many things
But mostly
How does one not wonder?
Not feel like just a number
But rather a member
Of a world full of lights
And a universe full of life
All shining on Earth each night
Twinkling
Streaking
And sparkling
Sometimes loud
But mostly quietly
Just passing celestial love notes
Messages delivered via the Holy Ghost
For all of us to know
Invitations from our Heavenly Host
To join with them
In joyous celebration
For this universe that is the Lord’s creation
Where we begin
And after death our destination
To live the whole thing
Walk the circumference of the Dharma ring
Learn, love, and loose everything
Just the Lord’s instructions for all Human Beings
Forget your title
And your career
Even all your loved ones you hold dear
God’s got plans for you
And they can’t wait to tell you
So come outside tonight
Stand and gaze up at the starlight
Listen
And hear God you just might

Sunday Night

Away I go
But when I return
I stay
Before I left
I made my bed
On Sunday night I will lay my head
And drift away
There are clean sheets
And it is made up neat
It looks nice and inviting
But when I get home
I choose again
It will be just me sleeping
Please no girlfriends
Or mistresses
Even muses
The bed I made I made just for me
But cheer up baby
I definitely love thee
But alas
I must be free
And finally
Treat me
The way I deserve to be
Like Royalty
Like a recipient of the Divine Gift
Cause that is what I am
And you are too
So we don’t need to be two
Not me and you
But two celestial objects
Both shining bright in the distance
Both luminous
Both beautiful and perfect
Just like my bed that is set
That I made with joy and regret
Don’t even want to forget
On Sunday night
In bed
It’s just me I expect

You Belong Here

You belong here
It was meant to be
You don’t have to believe me
Because I am not the one
Who decides such things
Your course in life
Not decided by human beings
Titles, money, or material things
Where you belong
Is decided by God
So you never can be wrong
Even in a room of new faces
Sitting in chairs of the most selective places
Trust me
Because the Lord let me see
Their presence in infinity
Their Glory
And all their majesty
How all the universe is their tapestry
Our strings all attached to God’s puppetry
So it is them who decides
In which seat you sit
And blow the sails of your ship
So they guide your journey
And have set your destination
It’s here where you belong
Because it was here you were destined to be all along
If God said so
How can you be wrong?
You belong here
Right where you are
As bright and brilliant as any other star
The Lord made plans for you long ago
In that moment before the big bang
Before the Lord let it all go
The seeds were planted then
And now we just grow
You belong here
That is all you need to know

Carry On

Carry on young one
Keep going
You can outrun
Tomorrow’s rising sun
It is not yet dawn
The new day
Not yet begun
So carry on
Keep going young one
Your race
You are destined to have won
Starts tomorrow
So start getting ready
Don’t start so heavy
You’ve got time
So you can build it up
No need to rush to grow
When you’re still a pup
Be patient
And believe
That you grow from a divine seed
Just another seedling off the tree
The one that blooms eternally
And was never conceived
Simply came to being
By the Lord’s grace
The same as all other things
Creations by Lord Everything
Carry on young one
Your race is not yet run
Worry not
Because you’ve already won
Your life is your journey
A race with just one completion
One with a known destination
A reunion with the Lord
At their house
With their lovely spouse
And then you find out what that
Race was all about

I Wish and I Wish I Might and I Might

I wish I could describe
How I feel
On the inside
I wish that to be close
Did not mean you had to know
Or even want to
Could it just be about what we do
And that I’ve got a crush on you
I wish that it could be just that simple
And matter of fact
I wonder why I wish so much
When my job is not to control all things
But rather control my being
Wish as I will
The Lord will still be the one to decide
How it all unfolds
How my life’s story is told
I wish
And I wish
And
I might
And I might
But I’m always left wanting
Even when I wanted to be the one walking out the door
Or the one wanting more
All I do is wish
And make up long lists
Of things to have
Relationship goals
And costs of highway tolls
Please Lord
Give me just one more wish
And that is
I accept your gifts
Whether they may be my wish
Or not
It is your job
My course to plot
And my job
To learn from your lessons taught

UR the Gift

Who you are
That’s your gift
The thing you bring
To the community gathering
No need to bring a dish
Just share one wish
Just be with us
Be a part of everything
Use your voice to sing
And join the song
Be a part of the Lord’s symphony
As they intend
Please Sweetie
Let’s not pretend
They are there
At the beginning and the end
Your creator
Your renewer
And your deliver
They made you just the way you are
On the day you were born
They also made a star
Gave you both the same name
So you know where to return
After your last day
And on Earth your body will lay in a grave
But at your star
Your soul forever stays
So then you can decide how you spend your days
On one of your many planets
Or back on Earth
So you better understand it
God’s one lesson for all lifetimes
How to vanquish all fear
In the light of love
To care for all
As we are all sisters and brothers
All God’s children
All made to be our own piece
Of Lord Everything’s masterpiece
