A Pale Blue Dot

So let me explain this again
One more time
Beginning to end
Watch time bend
The dimensions blend
Remember back to a time when
There was nothing
Just light
The Divine
In all their might
We were all there too
Smashed together on a dot
That was pale blue
We started there
And here we are
Still one
Together on this pale blue dot
Spinning around our sun
Ra
Helios
Other names too
But it burns yellow
So our home can be blue
And I can get to know you
We can share life with one another
Love each other
And all others
Because we came to Earth with that in mind
Not just here to fill up our time
With calendars of appointments and to-dos
Long lists to complete
But never time to contemplate
Life’s wonders
Or
What if God makes mistakes?
I guess I must forgive them too
If they even do
Cause that is what I remember being told to do
Forgive those who trespass against us
And may they forgive you too
When it is you
Who is trespassing
But now
My memory is surpassing
All that came before
Beyond infinity
Through Heaven’s door
To a face to face meeting with the Lord
Of course
You were there
And that was when I first saw that glance
Those eyes
An unavoidable invitation to know you from the inside
To your inner temple
Where your soul resides
Let my soul lay next to it
Side by side
You me and the Divine

This New Year

The holidays have mostly passed
Filled up on merriment
Dizzy on cheer
Now the best gift
A brand new year
A new start
New promises
More surprises
Everyone winning prizes
Every new start
Whether it be a new day
A new week
A new year
Or a new outlook
Each new start
We make a promise to our heart
To be true
To honor ourselves in all we do
To live the life
That is meant for us
The one God gave to us
Each new start
We reconfirm in our hearts
We declare what is in our souls
We have the faith to live bold
And to praise
When the Lord we do behold
On the first of the year is when we start
That I am told
Each new year
We do not grow old
We renew
Recognize that
In twelve months we grew
Closer to our final conclusion
Our earth exit
And our celestial ascension
That is forever written
Every single persons mission
To rejoin the Lord and the stars
After a day on Mars
A moment on the battlefield
Then
Paradise revealed
Any pain
Healed
This new year
It is not another one for your doom to grow near
But a new chance
Right here
For you and I
To live the life we should
One that is prosperous and good
One where we do not worry
If or when we will dwell with the Lord in eternity
Because I know I already live with them in earthly tranquility

Luminous Beings Reprise

We are incredible beings
Divine creations
To be human
Is a wondrous thing
We have unlimited capacities
In so many things
Impossible to love
Or to be loved too much
Impossible to learn it all
But try we can
Each day grow into a better human
We make symphonies
We are angels with wings
We’ve been to other planets
Explored fantastic tangents
We are amazing, luminous
So why do we spend so much time feeling like we are less?
Perpetually failing a test
Our life
An unending conquest
For tokens and trinkets
Turned off our imagination
Just to have it
The latest
Most shiny
New thing
But we are not machines
We are incredible, amazing, luminous beings

Nice to CU again

Where was it we first met?
It appears here
But I feel different
When you stand near
The view of your eyes clear
And I know
That face
And smile
Those eyes
I have seen many times
Not just today
Not just this stay
I remember that look
Before you went away
Before the cataclysm
Before the flood
Before we even donned bodies filled with blood
I remember meeting you
Before either of us had anything to do
No checks to cash
No buying things
And collecting trash
In that time before time
When we still dwelled with the Divine
Before we became separated to start living lives
I remember then
And that lifetime I was your boyfriend
I remember the time we were enemies
Took each other lives violently
Directed by Lord Everything
I know it is you
Every time we meet
Even when you wear different hair
You come in different sizes
When you act
There are no surprises
Because I know I just got your name
Your heart tells me
You remember the reign
When we danced with God
Before we even had names
Happy to see you again
I am
Just a reminder that it is indeed God’s plan
And I did sign
On the bottom line
With a pen in my hand
So I took this life as a man
So that I could meet you again
You as a beautiful woman

At one point
At one time
It was you and I
We were one
Not just each of us
But together
We were better
But we are back on our own
Just you
Just me
Us together
Blown
I guess I could just cry and moan
Complain and  protest
But I was just upset
Because I didn’t get what I wanted
And that is not really a reason
To be mad or angry
Definitely not at you
You never hurt me
It was your choice to do the deserting
Left me to be the one to be yearning
Now the seasons do the turning
A whole year gone by
Since you left
And didn’t say goodbye
When people ask if I miss you
I lie
Say whatever
Then change the subject
Cause on the inside
I’m still upset
When I hear about you
I simply wish I could forget
Although
Every moment with you
I do not regret
I feel lucky by the fact that we met
There is not one else in this world like you

Let’s start something new
Just us

Doesn’t matter where

All we need is each other
All we need is to be close to one another
