Just so you know

Just a few words

But please don’t go

Let me just write a few short things

A few thoughts from my mind

But to my heart

They do bind

Because I can’t control my feelings

And I change like the seasons

Am I not worth it?

Let me draw a hot bath with bubbles

After that

On the couch we can cuddle

Then we can be just one

Not the two of us

More than just a light crush

Oh how I love you so much

Gravity

All though we cannot always feel it

It’s always there

Although we don’t think about it often

A glance at the ocean and it’s clear

There is a force

Greater than all that’s here

Not simply through divinity

But rather by the presence of Gravity

The moon moves the waters of earth gently

And of course the water in your body plenty

But there is this other body

A ways away

And very heavy

Without Jupiter

And their mighty gravity

Everything in our system

Would drift off into the vastness of infinity

Jupiter is Lord of many

All the planets, moons, and comets

The God of Gods

The balance and the reflector of our sun

RA

Without gravity

This part of the galaxy

Would be empty

There would be no planets

Spinning

No asteroids flying

No comets crashing into planets and re-supplying

There would not even be a star here

Because you need gravity

To pull RA’s parts together not so gently

Crushing actually

Until the dust gets so heavy

Elements are created in plenty

And an interstellar furnace burns

Bright and mighty

Full of gold

And density

RA made the planets

Then told Zeus

To count the steps

Know the rhythm

Reach out as if with great strings

Make the other planets dance and sing

Make winter

Make summer

Make spring

Here on earth sometimes we forget these things

Gravity keeps us on the ground

But it is also gravity that keeps us going round

12 years

Equals one

For the first giant

The one closet to the Sun

Beyond the asteroid belt

Father of Heaven

Beneath whom all have dwelt

Since Jupiter is giant

And rules all other Gods

To them

Be not defiant

Be humble

And seek wisdom

Be patient

And ready for revisions

Ready for your life to be changed

Your sins forgiven

One for each month

Why is it so hard to remember?

That Jupiter is planet Lord and King of Everything

Their signature appears in most things

A dozen fresh eggs

Or a dozen wings

Around Jupiter

There are moons for play

Or a nice interstellar getaway

Or a Ski vaca

On the mountains of the highest peaks

New worlds each unique

12 years since the last time it was my sign

And Lord Jupiter walked by my side

I did get these wishes

And indeed much more

I arrive here and now

One step closer to Heaven’s door

Do I really need anything more?

Penelope?

Maybe?

But even she won’t change

How this year

Again Lord Jupiter came

With a handful of lessons

Bags worth of blessings

And took requests

For future trophies to be collecting

Since they are the one who hold the strings

And their gravity moves all things

Every 12 years

I’ll wear red and pull Lord Jupiter near

We Should Try

Here I am

In this place I stand

The same place I did land

When I arrived as part of God’s Plan

Not sure

Unclear and hard to understand

Now I do not know what to do

Not sure which to

Choose

When there is a choice

But be honest with each other

Be kind, gentle, love one another

As we hobble forward

Say we’re in first

To skip my homework

And go to the lake

So I did what I always do

When the choice is two

One, your work is due

The other, to bring life to you

Memories and good feelings

Stress easing

I can still get my homework done

But soon it will be September

And there will be no more summer fun

No more time at the lake shore
