All Things Same All Things Different

If it all changed
All things different
Colors the same
But rearranged
The place familiar
But the setting peculiar
As if in a dream
A place known
And unknown
A wondrous scene
What if you meant it this way?
What if?
You had your say
And now today
Is that day
You had hoped for
You did wish to go back to before?
So why is it different?
And feel so strange?
Perhaps it is not the place
But you who has changed
Although still called by the same name
Yes in the same town
Just got back?
Nah been around
Still hold the crown
And the key to the city
They already gave it to me
This all seems so differently
And perhaps now I can see
Nothing can stand still
Regardless of your wish
Your desire or will
And you decide whether or not it will be a thrill
Doesn’t have to be
It can be chill
But yes change it will
And so will you
That explains the different hue
What you do
And what you’ve done
Rise and set like the sun
Life on earth is about becoming one
Not some contest to be won
To become part of the sum
The connections to all things universal
This is the path of the spiritual
And that road is long and winding
With ups and downs
Fast-forwarding and rewinding
So here we are again in time unending
Same setting same place
But all things occupy new space
A new journey on a road that leaves a trace
Now we take it at my pace

What's Your Calendar Like?

Do you have plans tonight?
What about next week?
What is your calendar like?
I got plans
Want to join?
You might
They won’t start tonight
Or tomorrow at dawns light
For real
They started by God’s might
In the first instance
The first light
Now I’m here
And I’ve been far and near
Here and there
Through lifetimes
On many planets I did reside
And always learned to thrive
So I am going to stick with what is working
The Lord doing the conducting
I’ll just be serving
Living
And Learning
Hopefully are plans will align
The stars will shine
Underneath the night sky
We combine

Spring of 20something Teen

Tonight it was light just a bit longer
Today the birds could be heard singing just a little louder
The sun shone a bit brighter
I guess it is coming
A new season
We call it Spring
In the other hemisphere
It’s the other thing
That starts at the Equinox
But Summer next
It’s not
In one place
It’s one thing
And in the other
The opposite
That’s how it works
When you’re on a sphere
If you’re on the side that is near
The sun is warm
And Spring brings Summer
But when you’re away
Autumn comes and Winter is here to stay
But today
My thoughts go astray
Everyone says
What a beautiful day
All I think is that
The snow went away
So is the ski season over?
Or will we again
Enjoy runs
Sliding on our two feet
with skis underneath
Some sunny days are nice
And I like to get home and it be light
However
Skiing always makes me feel right
Whether it be a sunny day
Or after work at night
That is what Spring means to me
The end of my favorite hobby
One that takes me to lodges
And hotel lobbies
But like all seasons
And all seasonal things
They have their time
But now it is time for spring
New life
And a new beginning
So I celebrate that the ski season is ending
This spring
Maybe I won’t have a fling
But rather a new start
And by summer I will have a warmer heart

Count Your Blessings

Count your blessings
And be sure to count them all
Not only the ones you see
Or the ones that help you be
Be sure to count the little things
Like insects with pretty wings
That sit on your hand
Make you feel human
Remember to count the fact that you are here
In this moment
Living on this planet
With free will
Not all have it
Be sure to be thankful
When others help
Be grateful
Do our best not to be spiteful
Even when others are rude, mean, and hurt you
That we cannot undo
But we should count blessings all the same
Cause when we are hurt
There is room to change
No game
No lives that are lame
Just know you are blessed all the same
Have been since the day you came
Since you were given your name
Since The Lord lit your eternal flame
Spoke your souls name
That is a blessing
There should be no shame
It is from The Lord we have came
They too will be the last to call our name
The most important blessing is you
You are Everything’s wildest dreams come true
So
Be grateful
Be peaceful
Know your cup is full
And runneth over with blessings still

Sometimes You Know

Sometimes when you meet someone
You just know
Just takes one time
You meet
Begin your love show
Doesn’t matter if you’re only five years old
And you’re not suppose to know
You do
You know love too
You can tell the feeling
The results
Help you understand the meaning
Why we take this journey
Why we become flesh
And decide to marry
Because it is love we come from
And love will be done
On Earth
As in Heaven
As above
So below
So of course you know
You always have
So don’t be surprised
When you turn around
And it’s been 30 years since you met your first love
Put your hands in a glove
Your feet in boots
Click into skis
Finally free
Done so by her love for me
She called
And asked if I would come
Ski a run
The Bunny Hill to start
That was all it took to own my heart
From that night on
I gave my love
And she gave it back
In all her beauty and glory
Mountains and hills
From here too there
Covered in white to show they care
This is how they give their love
Their invitation
Beckons me to travel in all directions
To participate in introspection
Even though women do not return my affection
Me and Saint Germaine have made a connection
They’ve introduced me to some fine pieces in their collection
Some of my favorite recollections
I hope we can spend 30 more together
As long as there is not too much change in the weather
Regardless my dear
I love you forever

Forgive

If I cannot forgive
I guess I forgot what I learned in Sunday school
Got too caught up in being cool
And thought I do no wrong
I was playing myself
All along
For I must forgive
So you will forgive me
When I act astray
Leaving you feeling in dismay
You too make me feel this way
So let’s forgive
When we do
We rewrite sin
Heal each other
In each others arms
In gratitude
Do no harm
Even if what we did
Did alarm
There is room to forgive
Forgive me
And I forgive you
As the Lord Christ told us to do
Embrace one another
Address women as sisters
Men as brothers
Adorn Mary our Lord Mother

A Pale Blue Dot

So let me explain this again
One more time
Beginning to end
Watch time bend
The dimensions blend
Remember back to a time when
There was nothing
Just light
The Divine
In all their might
We were all there too
Smashed together on a dot
That was pale blue
We started there
And here we are
Still one
Together on this pale blue dot
Spinning around our sun
Ra
Helios
Other names too
But it burns yellow
So our home can be blue
And I can get to know you
We can share life with one another
Love each other
And all others
Because we came to Earth with that in mind
Not just here to fill up our time
With calendars of appointments and to-dos
Long lists to complete
But never time to contemplate
Life’s wonders
Or
What if God makes mistakes?
I guess I must forgive them too
If they even do
Cause that is what I remember being told to do
Forgive those who trespass against us
And may they forgive you too
When it is you
Who is trespassing
But now
My memory is surpassing
All that came before
Beyond infinity
Through Heaven’s door
To a face to face meeting with the Lord
Of course
You were there
And that was when I first saw that glance
Those eyes
An unavoidable invitation to know you from the inside
To your inner temple
Where your soul resides
Let my soul lay next to it
Side by side
You me and the Divine
