Why not just count blessings?

But seriously see all that glory that can be

You knew a lot when you were a kid
So why are you asking?

The one born of love
In this world they show themselves as doves
Or our the Angles there to guide us
When you were lost on the street
And they’re the only person you meet
Is it not clear?
Didn’t you always know Heaven was near?

And already blessed you
Didn’t send you here to test you
Actually wanted you to get new dancing shoes
Sing away your blues
See all the beautiful hues
The Lord left many clues
And you learned most before you took form and shape
So let’s get off this interrogation
And make way for the next glorious declaration

Angel Time

It’s Angle time
The day has arrived
No longer divide
Live peacefully
And do abide
By the Lord’s decree
Be free
Live through you and me
Love plentifully
It is the time we’ve all awaited
Sitting still
Our breath baited
Will the Angels return?
Our sins forgiven
Our words mistaken
We have not been forsaken
Merely forgotten
Asleep at the wheel of our own life
Day by day
Pass us by
Always dreaming of when we fly
Always wanting for days gone by
It’s always Angel time
When we take a second to remind
We are one with the Divine
Relax
Unwind
Remove your wrist watch
Worry less about the time
Less about what’s yours
And what’s mine
When you think about it
You can see Angels everywhere
You know it by their stare
The look in their eyes
All colors, all shapes, and every size
You know their sparkle and glow
Their soul exposed
Revealed all they know
They may be on the bus
Or at the coffee shop
One that says go
One that says stop
It’s always Angel time
Because Angels serve the Divine
And that is the Lord that made time
Separated sea and sky
Loves infinitely
And created everything
Angels just help us see
This is our land of plenty
And we are the ones who make it heavenly

Good Friday

Another Good Friday
Another pleasant day
Another quiet lazy day
Let’s make the most of this day
Let our hearts guide the way
Be spectators
Not actors in the play
Take a moment
Celebrate
Let’s not mistake
Or even consider that we would forsake
We know our lesson this Good Friday
Love freely
This is what the Lord wants for us
I say this truly
I am not asking you to believe me
Just see
There are many ways it can be
For Lord Everything
Rules over the universe and all infinity
And we still should live simply
Love plenty
And many
Why should you think or deny this reality
So much technological complexity
A life that is busy busy
But we fail to see things clearly
Only do things quickly
Not thoroughly
All the while we forget
Love is heaven sent
A Divine concept
And a perfect mindset
No need to delay any longer
The world we want is waiting for us
Locked in a vault
Held in a trust
All we must do
To claim this land anew
Live the words of the Lord’s wise Messenger
Divine teacher, lover, friend
And a brief preacher
Love thy neighbor
And thyself
This is the Lord’s command
I do not say so myself

Love is a Crime

If love is a crime
Then lock me up
I should serve a life sentence
If love is outlawed
Then I will live outside the law
Outside the reach of the state
At least I won’t hate
I will know the crimes I am
Charged with are unjust
Because
Crime or not loving is a must
Why would we want a world
Where love is punished
Like living in an apartment
Unfurnished
Better to be living a life blessed
One filled with Divine bliss
Enjoying the Lord’s gift
The gift of love
The sweet song of doves
For whatever reason
Uncle Sam just does not understand
Makes love a crime
Has everyone only focused on dimes
And running out of time
I say that is wrong
When is our time for song?
When can I share the words of love
I have written for so long?
When will I get the chance
When will we go to the dance?
When can I sing the Lord’s song in harmony
Without fear of appearing before the jury
Before my vision goes blurry
Before I leave this place once again
And get the chance to return to Heaven
Perhaps the day when love is no longer a crime
When it is more than me that sees your heart shine

The Circle

The circle goes round
Sometimes it starts when you enter the ground
Other times when you make your first sound
All the same
Always a circle
Always all colors red through purple
Always just a chance to learn
A chance to grow
When you enter the world below
Oh the things you didn’t know
How beautiful it is when you are
The grass your fair love mows
Or the black crow
That crows
Every morning outside her window
How easy it can be to always be able to see
If you can’t see her eyes
Just become a bee
Work at the hive
And make her honey
Not silly fake money
This choice ends with your own rebirth
This time her son
Her permeant beloved one
When you start the circle as a babe
Oh how much you do change
Learn many things
Learn to play games
Learn lots of names
See many faces
Travel to different spaces
Most of all you learn to love
Learn the name to call her
When you need to remind
When you want your own time
When you want to build a shrine
A temple to honor the love
Sent from the Center
The one in the heart

Her name is Eva
She will love you at the beginning and the end

End of The Season

Another season is almost over
A few days left of work
Just a few days left to ski
Then it can be summer
Off and free
Please still think of me
Even when I’m not around
Even after new life has sprung
From the ground
I’ll still think of you
And be back when the leaves turn a brighter hue
Goodbye to the summer dew
In the meantime
Let’s enjoy our time off
